Working Group - Advocacy

Allen Ramsey joined the Connecticut State Library staff in 2010, as Government Records Archivist.  He became Assistant State Archivist in 2013 and State Archivist in 2025. He oversees the State Archives acquisition, arrangement, description, and preservation of state and local government records and non-governmental records of enduring value pertaining to the history and heritage of Connecticut.  He was appointed a member of the Connecticut State Historical Records Advisory Board in 2017.
